In 1967 their organization began in a small pumpkin patch on Sergeant Road in Indianapolis. Many families and school children soon learned about "the patch" and in three years, we outgrew that location.
The search for a special place where families could have a real farm experience led to Noblesville. An 1860s era farm situated on 50 acres of rolling farmland and woods became the new home of the "Pumpkin Harvest Festival." The farm was named after Stony Creek, which meanders through the property. This creek was a Native American trade route and the site of an old gristmill.
